To Be…..

As I stood there with my camera, looking for a good click, I heard a mild humming sound at my feet. Looking down I saw a patch of Touch-me-nots all along the pathway – a rare sight nowadays in the city. Swirling around them were a set of bees, busy with agenda of touching every flower around. They were enough to keep me hooked for next quarter hour, trying to frame them in my lens. As tireless as theyIMG_0194blog seem, moving from one flower to other, not touching any of their leaves, lest they clam up!’Honey making is a serious business requiring hard work and agility’, I ponder.

The ups and downs, highs and lows, twists and turns, stops and starts of those ‘ Busy Bees’ kept my lens moving here to there. My minimal skills in the world of DSLR photography were not helping. The frames captured were missing the subject and ending up as a series of floral imagery. Realising a need for some forethought and planning on my behalf, I made my moves more swift. After a few more misses, I got what I was looking for. I now have some pictures that I will cherish for a long time to come.

To be(e) …. agile and patient at the same time, seems to be the key !
